COST Association just informed the Management Committee Core Group about the decision. COST gives an extension to COST Actions affected by a case of force majeure, which resulted in a delay in the implementation of the Action’s aims and objectives, mainly due to COVID-19 pandemic.

It should be noted that the delays of the ENOVAT action are to a large extent due to the pandemic, as i) crucial physical meetings could not take place, ii) several key people were (and to some extent still are) unavailable for the Action due to other, unforeseen obligations in relation to the pandemic, and iii) one of our WG leaders has suffered from long Covid delaying the work within that WG.

The extended end date has already been updated to May 14^th 2024.

In the meantime, members are working in a sustainable way for continuing the network and activities after the COST support is finished.
